Short answer
Pest control in San Jose breaks into six working categories: crawling insects, biting and stinging pests, rodents, wildlife, termites and wood pests, and scheduled or commercial programs. Each service page below covers what the job involves, what moves the price and how the visit runs, so you can read before you call.
Some of these are emergencies and some are maintenance, and they get handled differently. A yellow jacket nest over the back door is a today problem. A termite inspection is something you book because the house is thirty years old and nobody has looked. The pages below are written to tell you which of those you have.
Not sure where your problem sits? Describe what you are seeing on the phone, including when you see it and where, and we will name the pest and the service without any guessing on your end.

Rats, Mice & Rodents
Rats and mice from first scratching to a sealed building: trapping programs, entry sealing, attic cleanup, plus the burrowing animals that undermine lawns and slopes.

Wood-destroying organisms and the reports that go with them. Subterranean colonies in the soil, drywood termites inside the framing, beetles in flooring, and full inspections.

Reading your own problem before you call
Three questions narrow almost anything. When do you see it: insects at night point one way, daytime activity another, and dusk movement overhead usually means wildlife rather than rodents. Where do you see it: kitchen and bathroom activity points at moisture and food, garage and attic at entry points, yard and slope at burrowing animals. And what has changed: a remodel, new landscaping, a neighbor's work or a change in watering is behind a surprising share of sudden problems.
Past that, bring us the evidence rather than a diagnosis. Droppings, frass, a photo of a nest from a safe distance, or a description of the sound and the hour you hear it. Those identify the pest faster than a guess at the species, and they decide which of the services above is actually the right one.
What every job shares
The parts of the work that do not change
Whatever is on the schedule, the shape of a visit is the same. Somebody identifies the pest before anything is treated, because the wrong identification wastes the whole visit. The conditions behind the problem get noted, since a treated nest in wood that stays wet is a nest again in eighteen months. And you get told what was found and what was done, in writing, rather than a wave from the driveway.
The other constant is the phone. One number, answered around the clock, for a wasp nest at nine on a Saturday night or a question about next month's inspection. Nothing on this site asks you to fill in a form and wait.

What we see around San Jose
Working across San Jose means a handful of problems come up far more than the rest. The roof rat is by far the most abundant rodent pest in Santa Clara County, Argentine ants run supercolonies that never leave, and German cockroach pressure stays high across the South Bay. Older neighborhoods add subterranean and drywood termite work on top. That shapes the catalog: the rodent, ant and termite pages carry the most detail because those are the calls that come in week after week.
Residential and commercial
Homes, rentals and businesses get different treatment plans
A single-family home, a twelve-unit building and a restaurant kitchen can all have the same roach species and still need three different programs. The home gets a visit and a follow-up. The building needs adjoining units inspected and tenant notice built into the schedule. The kitchen needs service before opening, monitors that produce numbers, and documentation an inspector can read.
The service pages cover the technical work; the plans and commercial category covers how it gets delivered. If you manage property or run a food business, start there rather than with the pest page, because the coordination is usually the harder half.

Straight answers
Questions about the catalog
No. Describe what you are seeing, when and where, and the technician on the phone will name it. Plenty of calls start as one pest and turn out to be another, which is exactly why we identify before quoting anything.
Yes. Commercial and property management work runs as scheduled programs with documentation, service timed around your hours and per-unit records. Those pages are in the plans and commercial category above.
Often, yes. A single visit can treat ants and spiders together, for example. Termite work and wildlife removal are separate jobs with their own inspections, and we will say so rather than bundling things that do not belong together.
Phones are answered around the clock, and stinging insects, biting pests and anything with an allergy risk get moved up. Inspections and scheduled work usually book within a few days.
Both, and the honest answer depends on the pest. Isolated problems with a clear trigger suit a single visit; pests that press in from outside year-round cost less on a schedule. Each service page says which yours is.
Everything in this catalog we run ourselves. If something falls outside it, we will tell you that plainly on the phone instead of booking a visit that will not help.
